Medal of Honor: Warfighter (2012 Video Game)
5/10
Moving campaign albeit short but multi-player sucks!

Warning: Spoilers
After playing the first MOH and loving both the campaign and multi-player i couldn't wait for Warfighter having played MOH since the PS2. Having just completed the campaign on Tier 1 i have to say i enjoyed it albeit it's short like most modern campaigns tend to be. They have tried to instill and highlight the emotions these Spec ops guys go through as it was co-written and advised by actual operatives who know better than anyone else the sacrifice. I was also keen to play the multi-player with the Frostbite 2 engine having loved MOH's online gaming but have been disappointed to be honest. On the periphery constant freezes, being stuck in walls, sound disappearing resulting in firing a gun which is silent, poor servers with many gamers not even being able to sign into Origin to go online. The game itself has some of the same problems as MOH but seem to be magnified. Re-spawning in the middle of 6 enemy soldiers, spawn camping sites where 10 kills can be gained by waiting at the chopper of specific points. Problems highlighted by gamers/critics alike and like most of EA games largely ignored. In trying to have you play for longer they have over developed the multi-player template and reading the MOH.com forums this fiddly and slightly complicated multi-player setup has taken the shine off the game for many players. Rarely have i played a game, loved it and been bowled over by the sequel and this is the case with Warfighter. The games OK in my personal opinion but if it was not for the half decent campaign this avid fan would have traded it in!
