A Very Under-appreciated Episode
3 October 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Some of the criticism's here are well-off the mark. As for giving out about the acting check out the first three Terminator films and you will quickly discover the meaning of bad acting. To say that a steroid- enhanced Schwarzenegger is a poor actor is a grave understatement.

You cannot apply strict rationality to the Terminator franchise. There is no logical reason for the T-800 series to have a thick Austrian accent while prowling American locations.

It would also be much easier to go back in time to kill either parent of Sarah Connor, or any of her ancestors and the future John Connor would either cease to exist or be completely different depending upon who was selected to be assassinated. But then you wouldn't have a film or a television series. That is the problem with using Time Travel in film and television - you cannot think too hard about the ramifications.

As for 'Ridiculous's ridiculous assertion that you can't fire a .50 caliber sniper rifle standing up - evidence of numerous people firing such a weapon from a standing position is freely available on Youtube to prove otherwise. It is also certainly legal.

A fine episode in one of the best television series ever to grace the small screen.
