Review of Whore

Whore (2009)
10/10
An art film in a cheap genre
7 August 2012
Warning: Spoilers
When I put on film, I had no idea what I would be presented with! It had a cool exploitation cover with guns and blood. It looked nasty gruffly on the back of the cover. And the text told me that the film had been banned and that people have passed out of it. I can not quite get this out of the movie. But the movie worked very well on their way. With a lot of dark and bleak humor. Cool poor 70's effects. And many plot holes that you see the director has brought out on purpose. Hora is a film I will never forget. And given all exploitation films made in Hollywood a hit in the face when this cost just 20 000 dollars in the budget stretches far above everything else they manage to do in USA. What I can warn of is that the film brought out something in the viewer. Not like Baise Moi does provide you with the nasty scenes that make you sick. But Hora bring up the guilt in you. You are looking forward to the rape. When I Spit On Your Grave appeared, people dreaded the rape. But Hora makes you Iver. It gave me a sleazy feel to the body. While there are many scenes in the film is incredibly well filmed. And I liked the music very well! The negative I can say is that the dialog is very low. I do not understand much Norwegian, but it is impossible to understand something when it feels like they talking with there mouth shut. The acting was not that good. But I think Isabel Vibe and the retarded dude did a good job.
