Review of The Seder

The Seder (2011)
8/10
The Seder
7 March 2012
The Seder This short film is a well-crafted single-minded story. Executed with well-rounded actors. The Seder shows signs of excellent production and a relaxed atmosphere during the direction of the piece. Details are considered which makes the film mature and unfussy. Daveed and Adam shine in their characters of young Jews on a mission. The Parents, Theresa Tova and Harvey Atkin are seasoned actors, whose performances are outstanding. The variety of the film shows the contrasting landscape of Toronto and life behind the bustling city. A well-polished edit allows this to feel like a slice of life. Enjoy. Well done to the team involved. Dean
