Depressingly poor direction from Douglas Barr, better known as the veteran co-star of the terrible TV series "Designing Women", is one of the film's major faults.
It also has a most unlikeable syrupy script from Allison Burnett who repeated the crime in her next film "Autumn in New York".
It is sad to see an actress of Kathleen Quinlan's quality wasted in this drivel; Lori Heuring's acting falls way short of the mark.
The only saving grace is Brit television actor Henry Ian Cusick attempting to make a very simple role somewhat complicated. He went on to co-star in the wonderful "Lost" series.
Avoid this at all costs.
