A sweet and magical trip with a fairy
3 January 2011
Warning: Spoilers
I really thought this sweet little film had a lot of courage to attack this subject. Faeries are said to be among us only vibrating at a higher frequency. This kind dimensional shifting is being only talked about recently- and this illustrates it in a very sweet way. The fairy is fascinated with the child and its mother, and begs the queen to let her come to our world and experience it. She is then sent back as a human where she becomes her dream. It ends with her and her baby looking down the path, where she barely recollects, kinda remembering something-- then freezes with a nice ending. It touches on the human experience- on the value of being human. Not new age creepy just simple and deliberate. The beginning is a bit slow, I got she was a fairy right away, but not sure if others would. Good festival short. I loved the music and Kate is beautiful. I thought the lack of dialog was nice. Makeup and cinematography was good too.
