21 December 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Ray, who had received several nasty letters from an unknown person, is shaken when he gets a doll dressed as his comic book hero. The only problem is that underneath his costume, it is really a female doll with the vagina clearly showing. This incident serves to unnerve Ray, who has been preparing for a convention in which he is to appear to sign his books, dressed as the hero.

Jonathan succeeds finally in having sex with Nina. Unfortunately, he is interrupted from the great time he was having because Ray need him to help him investigate who is the person that has been behind the stalking. When the man made an appearance at Ray's building, Jonathan goes chasing him, spraining his ankle after a nasty fall.

Jonathan who had applied at a college for a teaching job, is late because of the incident where he got injured. To his amazement, he finds Louis Green awaiting in the office already. The secretary informs Jonathan he is late, so she send Louis ahead for the interview. As the woman leaves her office, Jonathan is able to eavesdrop his rival's interview in which he has been speaking nasty things about him. Interrupting the meeting, Jonathan goes after his rival with relish.

George, having flunk his urine test, is told by Kathryn to go see an expert that might help him cope with his addiction. The man turns out to be a piece of work. George is fed up with all the corporate interference. He goes to Kathryn to tell her he is quitting the magazine. Instead of being surprised, Kathryn appeared to be glad. What's more, she asks George whether she can see him socially, something she has not dared to tell him.

After the trio arrive at the convention site, Jonathan stays focused on the possibility of finding the culprit behind all the attacks to Ray. It does not take long for the man to appear. The stranger, armed with a knife, goes up to Ray and stabs him in the back. Jonathan is able to overpower the intruder, who is none other than Irwin, the man that seduced Leah. At the hospital there is a great reunion with Leah.

The final episode of this shortened season ends with a nice episode. It has a little bit of everything. Adam Bernstein directed the screenplay written by the creator of the series, Jonathan Ames and Martin Gero. The principals have now settled into their roles and it's a joy to watch the three actors do an excellent job. In the supporting cast, Zoe Kazan, Mary Kay Place, John Hodgman, John Rothman, and even Jonathan Ames are seen in great form.
