Warning: Spoilers
I haven't read the books, so I can't say exactly how true it is to the original story. As a film, it was very enjoyable!

Eustace's journey from a bratty little kid who's never lifted a finger into a courageous, brave and loving cousin was superb. By the end, you can't help but root for him.

There were A LOT of scenes that basically just circled the ship (10?). It felt like the movie kept trying to make you say "wow!" The ship is gorgeous, nonetheless. Oh, and I would've liked a longer running time.

I don't care if the movies differ from the books, as long as the general time line is upheld. Therefore some of my favorite scenes aren't actually in the books. The scene with Susan and Peter was very well-done!

Honestly, without the seven swords and the Dark Island mist, the movie would've been boring. Finding seven old guys with big beards just isn't my idea of a thrilling motion picture. Finding their powerful swords, laying them at Aslan's table, destroying evil and freeing the missing people is exciting.

In general, I LOVED this movie! It was exciting, filled with good lessons, emotional and I enjoyed every second of it.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
