Beautiful film

Warning: Spoilers
"De Profundis" (From the sea) is the first movie directed by Miguelanxo Prado (Who is responsible for the character designs of the animated series of "Men in Black") this is a unique, beautiful film, that shares a wonderful music, with a stylish, very attractive style of animation. Just like "Fantasia" there is no dialog in this film, only images and music. And what a beautiful imagery! Every single scene of this film is a work of art: While the story seems to be something very simplistic (Some parts reminded a lot to fairy tales, like "The Little Mermaid") the colors, the shapes, the characters have a unique, poetic look. I recommend a lot of patience for the viewer: This film is very, very slow paced, and the some parts of the movie could be boring and dull for the casual viewer. However, if you see you are able to handle the slowness of the scenes, you will be widely rewarded, because not many films are able to evocate so deep feelings as this one. Not even those that have a higher budget. This is a visual poem, and shows us feelings and dreams instead of a concrete story. I highly recommend this film to any fan of the genre of animation.
