The film is raw and relevant. The actors are great. Adam Butcher gave a superb performance as Butch. His trigger explosiveness kept me on the edge of my seat. Along with Shane Kippel and Mateo Morales, as the main delinquents, the film displayed the violence and brutality of the system. Even the youngest of the detainees, Sal, played by young Alexander Conti, was affected by the end of the film. Showing his disdain for the death of his bunk mate. In the beginning of the film his eyes innocent and scared, but by the end he too is filled with the rage of the realities of the corrupt system.
