The Classic (2003)
9/10
a must-watch :)
4 December 2009
Warning: Spoilers
It's a very well made movie, the two plots and their story lines intermingle seamlessly. The actors are all very much convincing in their parts. There come a certain points in the movie which really really move you. There's mainly a lot of light but right amount of romance, a little sprinkling of light humour here and there, the soundtracks are very much appropriate...it's all very well done.

The part where jun-ho(sorry if misspelt) returns from the war and meets ji-hae was so great!! I knew not whether to laugh or cry when I finally realised (pretty far into the scene, when jun-ho trips over tables, and ji-hae approaches him) that he'd lost his sight...could not help a few tears escaping down my face at that point :) Then there was the point where jun finds tae-su attempting suicide, it was really sad, and I actually heaved a sigh of relief when I realised tae had not died! And who can forget the happiest point in the movie...towards the end when sang-min removes jun-ho's necklace (he's jun-ho's son) and puts it on ji. It was nice!! Ji and Jun's love was made full-circle through their children...fate's decision indeed!

Go ahead and watch it if you haven't already..!!
