great film - excellent music
10 November 2009
After listening to the soundtrack, I had to see this film. The Boys of Ghost Town was extremely well done - from acting to cinematography to post production to music & all of the film's facets.

The characters developed well and the score complemented the film in a way i didn't expect. The compassion for the character's internal struggles was enhanced and exemplified in the music & each character's theme - but not through heavy guitars and hard hitting drums.

The score, orchestral (featuring beautiful female vocals and a duet at one point) rather than rock, had exactly the right amount of varying emotion and the right amount of cutting edge when needed, being in the moment of the film; rather than consistently high impact (as so often seen with action movies).

The musical fluctuations created consistently more of an impact than a "street fighter" type of score would have. The music was a classification of high impact all it's own with it's intentional complexities (ranging from subtle to intense), but never going over the top, and always being exactly what the film needed at the exact moment it needed it.

I would recommend this film to friends. Great job to all involved.
