This movie was very entertaining. The characters were engaging and the humor very creative. So many movies use the same tired approach to romantic comedies. Fiona's characters are fun and easy to like but the jokes are fresh and new.
The lead character Fiona is interesting but the rest of the cast really stands out. Greg Lobb plays a pleasant guy who really can't understand why a woman like Fiona would be interested in him. This self fulfilling prophecy plays out with good natured humor as Greg questions his odd group of friends.
His attempts to understand and control the situation only serves to hasten the inevitable. Even as he fails, you continue to pull for him but don't feel bad since he seems to take all his misfortunes in stride. You get the feeling he'll be back again for another Fiona one day.
