Very powerful episode

Sometimes, but not too often, does a TV show, cause such thought provoking and beauty as does this episode of Northern Exposure. As I watch it, I remember when it was first aired in 1992 and the profound effect it had on me then and now. My thoughts for this episode are of life changing feelings for how we all live our lives and from whence we come in the past.

This episode makes you want to go and make our own Cicely (so to speak) a better place for all the world. I can only think of what Ned said at the first of this episode, "One person can have a profound effect on another, well two people can work miracles. They can change a town. They can change the world." This particular episode was not meant to be funny or even sad as it were. In my opinion, it should create a point of which we can all go forth and try to change the world for the better for all, no matter the color of your skin, sexual preference, religion or even your past.

I agree with the past reviewer that this was a great show and episode. It deserved the accolades it garnished at the time and more.

Unlike the shows that TV produces now, Northern Exposure was, is and always will be a very good and powerful show and will continue to be classic for a millennium.
