Inspiring film
16 September 2009
A very moving film about a handful of people with minimal humanitarian experience dropping themselves into a disaster zone in post-tsunami Sri Lanka. The extent to which they are able to transform a local community is astounding. It certainly makes one question why more people don't volunteer in such circumstances. Probably the best filmed record of the suffering and devastation caused by the tsunami. It will make you want to get involved. I met the director/actor/volunteers at the film screening and were impressed by how willing they were to share their experiences. A must see for anyone considering humanitarian relief work.
