This short is awful. if you've seen it, you must realize that nothing happens in it. there are no motivations. the attempt to create emotions with speechless puppets is a horrible failure. the music is trying its hardest to bring something alive on screen. it is a pitiful stab at art-house animation. the colors are dull and nothing about the production design sticks out except for the hideous characters, who look like the result of a student who has yet to perfect his artistry. they look like car crash dummies for Christ sake. the only redeeming factor that i got by the end was a chuckle when i realized that the audience's grueling experience watching this film is a mirror of the dummies' experience waiting for the bird to appear again. if you're not a dummy, you wouldn't put yourself through this 10min. torture.
