Review of Psych

Psych (2006–2014)
well written, great acting, if not the best, close to it best program on TV
16 July 2007
Seriously on TV today there is so much of the same old routine. Corky father with hot wife and kids who act bad but ultimately are good. there are a few good programs but none have the style nor excellent timing of Psych. Roday and Hill only get better from episode to episode. Along with a tight friendship you see how they balance one another out, sometimes painfully. Shawn the immature, unbalanced yet very intelligent detective. built from childhood to be like his father but nothing like him, save a mind that seems able to see all the angles in a crime. when people criticize his ability to see things they are looking so bluntly at the show not really watching it. being able to to deduce from the most simple evidence how something happened in the manner psych does is great. then Gus, who is like Shawn's father, which explains why Shawn sees it as his duty to make Gus have fun and enjoy himself.

the cops are funny, and Juliet as Shawn's equal in both crime solving and the absurd like in season 2s season premiere.

in all just one great show.
