As a connoisseur of twisted films, I was looking forward to this one. While I can't say it disappointed, I was frustrated through parts of it.
My worst criticism would be that the legend was prominently mentioned at the beginning, but never again. Nothing supernatural reared its head nor did it need to. Nevertheless, an air of expectation was created, but never satisfied.
And why were the Mexicans so determined to crack open the wooden leg? As if they knew there was something inside.
And finally, why did the car have Alberta plates on it? No mention of Canada anywhere else.
Those are minor things, though. If you like twisted films, you'll like this one.
