A true suspense filled episode chocked full of laughs this season finale is a good one. While there is a lot of over the top cheesiness with the disasters unfolding outside the plot inside is entertaining. Again Dr. Randall brings up his true desire to be an VJ on MTV (He really was a VJ on MTV in the early to mid 80's). The biggest threat in the episode is the criminal mastermind 'the Chamileon' who is also trapped in the diner with everyone else. While a little goofy in itself it added the suspense element to this unique episode. This episode culminates rather abruptly and leaves a bit of questions unanswered which I found to be a downer. As a fair amount of PLCL fans would argue this is the end of the series as season 3 is nothing like season 1 and 2... If so then this episode truly is bittersweet as it seems the writers went all out for a good crazy episode to take the series out.
