Review of Buddy

Buddy (2006)

A great film that is as precise in its execution as it is in its story, making it a model example of what a film should be. Devoid of the arbitrary filler that accompanies most films, Buddy moves forward in clear detail, all the while, staying true to its premise, making the film from a story standpoint, extremely interesting. Coupled with good acting, few pictures illicit this kind of ratable investment from its viewers in the actions, consequences, and eventual outcome of the film's main character Buddy, played by Jeffrey Savant. The universality of Buddy's journey and its poignant relevance, make it a must see for both old and young alike.
