Short Walk to Daylight (1972 TV Movie)
9/10
I only wish we can purchase this movie to watch it all over again.
2 March 2007
Warning: Spoilers
I remember when this movie was being shot in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. As a matter of fact, I was very lucky to meet James Brolin, Don Mitchel and the rest of the cast as my best friend's father owned a pizza parlor and I was invited to go with the delivery person to the set at the train station on Schermerhorn St. that was closed down and later became a train museum. I still remember James Brolin in a policeman's outfit crossing the street on Court and Schermerhorn and I could kick myself for not knowing where that photo of him is that I took. But I will find it! A little more FYI, Barbara Striesand, (his wife) did a movie on that same location just a year or so earlier where she came out of the manhole.

I can only remember certain parts of the movie, mostly James Brolin leading them to safety. I thought it was an earth quake that caused the derailment and all that wonderful drama.
