How can a show last so long and still kick ass
20 January 2007
Warning: Spoilers
First off, let me say that I've been a member of IMDb for a while, and this is the first time I actually feel the need to share my thoughts with others writing a review. To me Scrubs is the best show ever, I loved every and each season of it, but I always had the fear that it would soon jump the shark. You know, most series run out of ideas after a while, it's normal, but this show seems never ending, and this particular episode is the very proof of it.

On to the episode itself, at first I thought "Oh jeez, here we go, a musical episode. The end is near." mostly for my hate for musicals, and secondly for the fore-mentioned "fear" that this show could become crap soon.

But was I wrong, I laughed throughout the whole 22-ish minutes of it, it was brilliant to say the least. And the music is so well-inserted inside a storyline that it seems almost needed, plus I must say that all, and I stress again ALL of the performances were great. First of all obviously Broadway star Stephanie D'Abruzzo, a real singer with an awesome voice and acting. But then all the cast seems almost to have a musical background. I knew already of Turk's singing ability, he shows it off in some old episodes, but Carla was a real pearl, she has that bluesy-moody sound in her chords plus I really loved the tango with Turk, one of the best moments.

The best tho was the "Guy Love" song. God, did I enjoy that piece. Definitely worth watching, it changed my mood for the whole day, and I can't thank this show enough for this.

10/10
