The inevitable result is pain and suffering (and not just for those who get their heads cracked by the bovver-booted bully boys). No-one is allowed a happy ending in this film; everyone winds up dead, nearly dead or at least getting a good pasting.
With excellent performances from all involved, this disturbing look at youth and blind hatred is compelling and well worth a look.
