What a trip. I have been wanting to know the name of this movie for a long time and a google search brought me here. This movie scared the crap out of me when I was little too. I remember the same things as everyone else here... the Mud Monster imprint in the ground, the hand getting cut off in the door, the hand grabbing a persons leg when they were going up the stairs in the cellar... I even remember seeing the Mud Monster under my bed after seeing this movie... I'm not kidding! I guess it had that much of an impact upon me. It would be great to see this on TV again or released on DVD. Great childhood horror memory. A couple of other good ones were "He Knows You're Alone" and "Terror Train".
