5/10
Fairly entertaining as it goes.

Warning: Spoilers
This TV series follows the adventures of Arpad, a Gypsy, and his friends and family. It is set in the Austrian-Hungarian Empire and his Hungarian friends fight against the Austrians. The gypsy settlement consists of tents and the children run barefoot. Arpad is their hero and they are excited when he returns from his adventures. He always manages to outwit his enemies, even at the last minute when he is about to be hung on the gallows. He also saves the love of his life from an arranged marriage and when she is kidnapped.

This series is brimming with stereotypes such as Gypsies stealing (Arpad frequently steals horses). Fairly entertaining as it goes.
