"Ten out of ten for style, but minus several million for good thinking ..."

In 'Ultraviolet' Milla Jovovich plays Violet, a hemophage (vampire) of the future. Her condition is from a disease that was biologically altered to be a weapon. Others of her kind are on the verge of extinction. She must retrieve a new weapon from the Archministry that could mean the end of her people as well as the human race.

This movie was a combination of 'Blade' meets 'The Matrix'. Armed with inter-dimensional weapons and an anti-gravity device, Jovovich becomes a vampire super-soldier. This is loaded with action and a lot of good CGI effects. In my opinion, too many effects, some of which make the movie look a little fake. They certainly sacrifice plot for style. It was hard to follow. It was fun, but not fun enough.
