A few films from the 70's have had the unfortunate distinction in my mind of creeping me up and giving me childhood nightmares. Jaws frightened me from the sea for a very long time, and i lived on an island... this one, well, let's just say that the fantastic micro photography of the ants became a true nightmare for me.
Interesting idea, especially after seeing many Learning Channel and Discovery channel documentaries on ants. That smallish creatures can band together and attempt to take over the reigning kings of the food chain (humans) is a very unnerving concept; what happens if they succeed brings even more reflection.
