Even porn should have more of a plot than this inert tripe.

Warning: Spoilers
No member of the cast of this "film" is sufficiently toothsome to make watching this worthwhile. Seriously, NO redeeming features whatsoever, none! I have to confess, I never even would have had a chance to watch "Alyson Watching" were it not to have accidentally ended up on my Netflix queue; what a waste of six days shipping to and fro. Instead of watching this--seriously, under no circumstances should you ever permit yourself to waste a nanosecond watching this film, no matter what your ahem motivation is--why don't you instead select a film of infinitely superior caliber that also happens to accomplish whatever deviant or not-so-deviant objective you may have had in even considering "Alyson" in the first place (take Bergman's Persona for example, Bibi Andersson beats these homely whores any day of the year). Then again, maybe you've pulled this movie up on IMDb solely to confirm, I don't know, Caroline Ambrose's oeuvre. Also, maybe I was in too frenzied a rush to get this woefully inadequate title out of my DVD player, but I don't think Alyson's character was meant to be interesting because of her infidelity, on the contrary, I think that she's meant to be ostensibly loyal to her pickup-truck beau, so the part where she sleeps with Eric, I suppose that behavior was justified since Eric was the director who could give her the very career that would permit her to have her backyard brother/lover shipped to Los Angeles? Regardless, please spare yourself and never watch a moment of this stellar Kubilos production.
