Smart for its Age
17 June 2005
This is the first Sandy Powell film i have seen but even with its age it is still very good, the story line is a bit in and out as all films were then But if you get to see this film you will enjoy it. He wins the Footie pools and buys a mansion for a girl whose father is in danger of losing it because of debts it's nothing to do with Sandy but who cares it is Sandys film after all..he sings a couple of songs which makes everything okay..... after all remember.."It's a Grand Old World" Sandy Powell sang and gave monologues of many types his skills were unsurpassed his comedy and humour are a legacy for all comedians and fans of 30s 40s and 50s films etc
