Suspicion (1941)

Pretty entertaining Hitch...once again

Suspicion

This is the film that followed the ingenious Dumaurier classic "Rebecca." Joan Fontaine is back once again and clasped the Oscar with her portrayal as a quiet Englishwomen (similiarities with Rebecca quite justified) thinking her husband, Cary Grant is trying to kill her. The story works very neatly, however i need to add the ending does not work, however don't worry I'm not giving anything away. Well it's definitely worthwhile to watch as i think Joan Fontaine is great. Cary Grant also works nicely in an early Hitch that is also to watch and another excellent example of suspense.
