Interesting short film with good acting on all levels, especially, the lead girl, Yvette McClendon.

I viewed this film at the Melbourne Film Festival's shorts. It was like watching a full length film all in a short film. The main girl, Jennifer (played by Yvette McClendon) was a nice mix of sweet vulnerable and beautiful as she spiraled down a wrong path all the while showing Flash backs of various traumatic events leading up to an apparent attempted suicide. The supporting cast was great, the creepy step father and drunken mother were quite interesting. The film looks as though it was going one way but didn't quite get there. If I were a director, I would have made it alittle more grittier. Needless to say, one of the best shorts I have seen in a while and Yvette McClendon showed a great range as an actress.
