You can't really judge this movie for being too authentic. It's sort of a classic story genre, dating back to Taming of The Shrew from Shakespeare, but it's obviously no Shakespeare. Classic story, a firebrand woman who no man in their right mind would marry, gets married to a man through ulterior motives, but eventually they find love.
Acting is wooden, there's no real conflicts or sparks between the characters. And the movie does get a little draggy during the last half hour. But don't take it too seriously.
