This isn't the type of movie that will thrust it's stars into the stratosphere in terms of the poignancy of their work...it's fluff. It knows that it's fluff, it takes pleasure in being fluff, and overall it succeeds at being fluff. It is the type of movie that would probably succeed as a sitcom, but hey, let's not give TV any ideas here...take this one for what it's worth...eye candy that will satisfy a taste but by no means appease a hunger.
