Perfect look at how Hollywood saturates most international film markets
28 October 2003
This documentary speaks to the international film community and presents a clear picture of why and how Hollywood film has saturated, and at times strangled, individual country's local film industries. It presents the proud and long serving film producing nations such as France, Great Britain, Germany and Poland and shows how Hollywood has influenced and almost destroyed their ability to tell their own stories of their own cultures since WWII. Insightful interviews with European and also American based directors gives the documentary depth of perspective and it also reflects on the significant historical context that has influenced these trends.

A must see for any serious film scholar or anyone concerned about the state of the film industry in their home country.
