Cassevettes-like exploration
29 May 2002
I saw this film at the Museum of Modern Art in New York a few years ago, since my cousin Michael starred in it. I found the concept an interesting one, sort of a Cassavettes-like exploration of the mind and making of a skyjacker at a time when these airline incidents had become common (ironic how history repeats itself!). Although the film drags in parts, it functions as a time capsule of that period and offers some insightful character interplay. The movie is fairly non-traditional, offbeat in its approach, but worth seeing.
