I was happy that my husband suggested at the last minute to go see Amelie -- he's a Jeunet fan.
The story is the early life of Amelie, who would seem simple on the surface, but then we learn no one really ever is simply "simple".
This is a thoughtful, romantic light-hearted movie. The only tears I cried were of happiness (I'm an emotional movie-goer). It's a sweet movie...see it if it's playing near you!
