i did like it...i think

I tried to watch this film a year or two ago but never got into it. I noticed it at a friends house and having seen 'Lost in Translation' I was interested in seeing this piece which previoulsy I had not realised that it had been directed by Sofia. I did like it and I would agree having flicked through a few other comments on this film it does possess a very dreamy, hazy and soft feeling. I believe the music and cinematography adds to this. I like Sofia's style, it seems unique and different to so many films around these days. It's not a film that will have you sitting on the edge of your chair nor will it bore you or depress you. The only thing that I personally didn't really get was the fact that in some ways I watched the film and almost felt empty because I didnt understand the true reasons why these girls lives ended. Perhaps thats not important in the story of this film, its just my personal view. But I guess with a film like this its best not to read into it too much. Take the information that is given to you and leave it at that. It is a unique film with a strong director.
