Singapore Sling (1999 Video)
Horrible, but three things stand out.
28 May 2001
Granted, this film about a woman who was forced into a marriage with a corrupt Asian businessman who escapes and returns to U.S. to return to the man who unknowingly was the one who planned this marriage to help his struggling oil enterprise is cheaply done but three things make this film worth sitting through just once.

1. Lisa Comshaw, who plays a Gentleman's club manager with a kind heart, delivers a convincing performance.

2. Rena Riffel, the only person who can say she appeared in both Showgirls and Striptease, delivers an annoying performance as a country girl: complete with accent but she's so cute and adorable that you can't say anything bad about her.

3. James Hong, who directed and plays the businessman, has a scene where he's given a cowboy hat and he does a "Billy Joe Ho from the Dukes Of Hazzard" performance. Hilarious.

Otherwise, you've seen this movie before and Shannon Tweed does her usual phoned-in performance.
