Mumford is packed with quality actors and a quirky interesting storyline. Unfortunately, there just wasn't enough time to do an effective character study of the major characters. Since the movie spends all its time shallowly studying characters, the plot never develops enough to carry the movie. All in all, the movie was interesting and pleasant, it just didn't live up to its potential.
