An uneven mixture of black comedy and drama. It isn't that the mixtures is shocking or jarring, it isn't shocking enough. There are quite a few morbid situations sprinkled throughout (e.g. bratty Siamese twins who want to become separated). The film for the most part is driven by an uninteresting "steamy" love story. The couple simply does not sizzle when they are together.
