Review of Lola Mora

Lola Mora (1996)
Buena
2 December 1999
The story of the Argentine sculptress Dolores Mora, better known as Lola Mora, autor of works well known in Argentine. She arrived in turn-of-the-century Rome, where she met figures such as Gabrielle D'Annunzio and Eleonora Duse, and on her return set up her atelier at the Palace of Congress. The challenge of being a woman in a world of men, and her links with the circles of power in Argentina of the begining of the century, led, finally, to being marginalized to poverty.
