Poll: The Posters of Nano Campeggi

His name is little known, but his images have captivated millions.

Italian artist Silvano "Nano" Campeggi started his career as a poster designer working for MGM in Gone With the Wind; this would only be the first step in a long career where he produced the poster and advertising graphics for over 3000 films.

Campeggi worked for every major movie studio in Hollywood and many of his images are associated with the golden age of Cinema. He was also the artist behind many famous portraits of movie stars.

Nano Campeggi died in Italy at the age of 95 on August 29 of 2018, but his work will live forever with movie lovers.
