Better Call Saul has been renewed for a sixth and final season by AMC.
The Sony Pictures Television-produced show has handed the Emmy-nominated Breaking Bad prequel a 13-episode season to go into production later this year and air in 2021.
The news was announced during the Better Call Saul panel at the TCA winter press tour.
This comes ahead of the launch of Season 5, which kicks off with a two-night premiere event on February 23 and February 24. Season 5, which is 10 episodes, follows Jimmy McGill’s (Bob Odenkirk) decision to practice law as “Saul Goodman,” which creates unexpected and profound waves of change for those in his orbit.
The show also stars Jonathan Banks, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Tony Dalton and Giancarlo Esposito and is executive produced by Peter Gould, Vince Gilligan, Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein and Thomas Schnauz.
