Red Entertainment is developing an authorized biopic on Paralympic gold medalist Bradley Snyder with Robert Knott on board to script.
Red Sanders is producing the project, which will chronicle the life of the former U.S. Navy lieutenant who lost his eyesight while serving in Afghanistan.
One year after he lost his vision, he won two gold medals and one silver medal for the United States in swimming at the 2012 London Paralympic Games. Knott is closely working with Snyder. Production is expected to begin in the summer.
“My life’s great challenge came in the form of visual impairment, but we all face adversity,” said Snyder. “I hope my story will inspire people to adopt a positive outlook that enables them to courageously overcome their struggles.”
