Below, McKay lists Will Ferrell's top five improvised moments, in no particular order. Warning: There's some Nsfw language ahead!
"Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" - "Milk was a bad choice."
Will kept asking me why I had him drinking milk in the scene. I said it seemed like the most horrible beverage to be drinking on a hot street. Finally during one take he came out with the line.
"Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" - "I'm in a glass case of emotion."
We carried that phone booth around on a truck for weeks. Our line producer, David Householter, kept insisting we were going to get the scene even though it wasn't critical to that part of the movie.
