With a base roster of 32 fighters, Tekken 8 has surpassed Mortal Kombat 1 and Street Fighter 6, as it has earned the crown of being the greatest fighting game of the current generation because of its relatively non-greedy practices. Where MK1 and SF6 had 22 and 18 characters in their base rosters, respectively, with the rest of the fighters locked behind paid Dlc, the latest installment in the Tekken franchise ensured that it treated its fans with as many iconic faces as possible.
However, there was a void in the absence of one Og fighter who, ever since his debut in 1997’s Tekken 3, remained a fan-favorite character in every game that followed.
Eddy Gordo Enters the Tekken 8 Roster in Style
The Indomitable Flash, Eddy Gordo, has arrived in Tekken 8.
Although Eddy Gordo will make his Tekken 8 debut for all players on April 4, gamers who bought the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition got to select the Brazilian fighter from April 1 onwards.

There is no franchise that is so big that it’s immune from some bizarre footnotes that become a forgettable part of its history. It’s inevitable. By the time The Empire Strikes Back had come out, Star Wars had already given us a bewildering TV special about Chewbacca’s version of Christmas, a comedy sketch of Richard Pryor working at the Mos Eisley cantina, and a comic book where Han Solo teamed up with a green Bugs Bunny. The bigger and more expansive the series, the more likely you’re going to see find some curious treasure buried between the couch cushions.
Video games are no different. There are so many great Bomberman games out there, but the series will forever be stained by the gritty, post-apocalyptic reboot, Bomberman: Act Zero. There are ten major Tekken fighting games, but even its fanbase needs to be reminded that Nina Williams...

The latest animated version of “Tekken” the video game has hit Netflix this month, following the story of its third edition, in six episodes that definitely leave room for sequel(s).
The first of the six episodes shows Jin Kazama learning the Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts from his mother Jun, in their secluded cabin in the woods. Despite some incidents here and there, the two of them live a peaceful life, with their relationship being quite good. However, for reasons unknown, an ancient demon, Ogre, appears in their house, ending up killing Jun who barely manages to save her son. The next two episodes revolve around the relationship between Jin and his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima, powerful martial artist and business mogul, who eventually agrees to train him after he mentions what happened with the Ogre. Heihachi proves a rather hard teacher, but through the years, Jin becomes a truly powerful fighter himself.
