NBC officials are still holding concrete details about the number of new subscribers for Peacock back until October.
The 2024 Summer Olympics are officially in the history books, but Peacock is hoping it continues to see benefits from the games for years to come. Peacock offered a massive amount of coverage for this year’s games, livestreaming more than 3,200 individual events and crafting the daily “Gold Zone” whip-around show to give audiences a window into the hottest action across the games each day. Analysts and observers are still awaiting concrete numbers on how many subscribers Peacock gained during the Olympics, and NBC’s media group chairman Mark Lazarus gave a small update on that figure at the Front Office Sports Tuned In summit last week.
Key Details: Lazarus said that Peacock “added a lot of subs” thanks to the Olympics. Declining to share a hard number, Lazarus pointed to NBC’s...

It’s been announced that The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will now only air four new episodes each week. The change reflects the trend of cutbacks for late-night fare in recent years. That said, Fallon is expected to remain on the show for the next few years.
Four Episodes Per Week Is A Late-Night Norm Across Networks
New episodes of the series will air from Monday through Thursday. Fridays will now be reserved for reruns of the show. Other similar shows have also embraced a four-day work week. These include The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night With Seth Meyers, and The Daily Show.

Despite being the norm, late-night fare has seen a drop in viewership in the past few years, which have likely inspired the cutbacks. Notably, Late Night with Seth Meyers announced it would cut its house band, The 8G Band,...

As Jesus and his followers carried on their ministry across the Holy Land, their challenges grew in season four of The Chosen. By now, word had spread of this curious rabbi who performed healings and spoke with mysterious authority. Crowds flocked to hear his parables and see displays of his power.
Yet Jesus also faced rising opposition from the established religious authorities, who saw him as a threat. Meanwhile, the Roman Empire watched closely as tensions simmered between their occupying forces and the restive populace. All the players knew change was coming, though the form it would take remained uncertain.
This season finds Jesus deploying his talents in new regions, and the devoted apostles are learning through both triumph and turmoil. But darker storms soon descend. The maniac king Herod, disquieted by the prospect of a rival, locks the fiery prophet John in the dungeon. And in Jerusalem, suspicion and...

One of the most stunning revelations in A&e’s “Secrets of Prince Andrew,” which aired on Aug. 21 and is now available on the A&e app and Aetv.com, comes just minutes into the four-hour documentary.
Sam McAlister, the “Newsnight” producer who was largely responsible for setting up the 2019 car-crash interview between Andrew and BBC anchor Emily Maitlis, casually divulges that it was a publicist working on Andrew’s behalf that first reached out to her about setting up the on-screen chat that would eventually see the British royal banished from public life.
How Andrew came to be the architect of his own downfall – in more ways than one – is the central theme of the doc, which was co-produced by Candle True Stories and Bitachon365. “Really what we’re exploring in the documentary is how Andrew’s upbringing and the privilege and the hubris that comes with that all leads...

What a mess George has created!
The rookie Lazarus agent plunged along on his rogue mission, which he figures will resurrect his dead lover, Sarah, on The Lazarus Project Season 1 Episode 5.
George's scheme sounds Ok (just Ok) on paper.
He planned to locate the stolen nuclear device Big Boy and then set it off. To avoid Armageddon, Wes and Lazarus would have to rush in and reset time, bringing back to life Sarah and all those others killed since the last Checkpoint Day.
Based on George's brief experience with Lazarus, this seems workable.
He saw Archie and Dane get gunned down during that disastrous raid against Rebrov on The Lazarus Project Season 1 Episode 1.
Yet they were alive again after Wes reset time following Rebrov's setting off Big Boy. In fact, every time there's a mushroom cloud, Wes seems to use Lazarus's singularity to fix the situation, giving humanity yet another chance to get things right.

On the heels of being renewed for Season 3, NBC’s La Brea resumed its sophomore run on Tuesday night with back-to-back episodes that involved stampeding buffalo, a pretty random murder, a conspicuously sudden preponderance of red, star-shaped flowers, and the long-awaited revisiting of the Aaron storyline (!) we all came for.
After Eve, Gavin, Josh, Izzy, Caroline, Sam and Riley landed back in 10,000 B.C. (Josh was Mia for a bit due to a twisted ankle/plot point), Gavin and Izzy made tracks for the Lazarus tower, hoping to play the “We are family!” card long enough with James that Caroline...

Zyra Goreski as Izzy and Natalie Zea as Eve in ‘La Brea’ season 2 episode 4 (Photo by: Sarah Enticknap/NBC)
Season two episode three of NBC’s La Brea ended with Eve and Izzy’s emotional reunion. Episode four, “The Fog,” opens with Eve (Natalie Zea) still not over the fact her daughter stepped through a sinkhole. She watches Izzy (Zyra Gorecki) as she sleeps, which in most cases would sound creepy but, in this case, is just sweet.
Gavin (Eoin Macken) joins the happy reunion and Izzy notes it’s the first time she’s seen her parents smile at each other in a while. It’s much more dangerous in 10,000 BC than Gavin expected so his current plan is to get Josh back from the ‘80s and find a way home. But that means they need to find Aldridge first. She’s key to returning home.

Hellraiser (1987) casts a long shadow over the horror world. The original film, directed by Clive Barker, is a remarkably faithful adaptation of his own novella “The Hellbound Heart,” a twisted love story of forbidden passion and pain. The hotly anticipated reboot from director David Bruckner stars Jaime Clayton as the Priest and Odessa A’zion as new final girl, Riley. A recovering addict, Riley stumbles upon the Lament Configuration and finds herself dragged into the world of its painful magic.
Also drawn to the box is Roland Voight (Goran Visnjic), a wealthy entrepreneur obsessed with the power of the occult. On the surface, Bruckner’s new vision of the story bears only symbolic resemblance to Barker’s original novella The Hellbound Heart, but upon closer examination there are several thematic connections lurking just beneath the skin.
A Passage to Leviathan
We are first introduced to the “Hellraiser” lore through an ornately carved golden box.
