It all came down to this. Victoria Cocieru, Sergio Guadarrama, Geoffrey Mac and Nancy Volpe-Beringer went into the season finale of “Project Runway” season 18 on March 12. So who won the whole competition? And did the judges (including guest judge Serena Williams) make the right decision? Find out below in our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments as they happen.

“Finale, Part 2” followed last week’s cliffhanger. The finalists spent five months and $10,000 creating 10-look collections to decide the ultimate winner. But they had to show three sample looks from those collections to the judges and receive feedback. It was possible only two or three of the finalists would actually get to present their collections at Fashion Week. So this week’s show answered that question up top. But the more important question remained of who would win.

“Project Runway” season 18 is almost over, and all that’s left is for the remaining designers to present their final collections at New York Fashion Week. But after the final four presented the judges with samples from their collections in “Finale, Part 1,” has anything changed in our odds? Fans have been placing their bets in our predictions center. Check out their complete forecasts here.
Geoffrey Mac is still the front-runner for the grand prize with leading odds of 47/50 as of this writing. He has been out front since he won his second design challenge in “Live and Let Tie Dye.” The judges had mixed feelings about his preview pieces in last week’s penultimate episode, but all four finalists got mixed reviews to varying degrees, and he has a distinct artistic voice with a futuristic bent that has the potential to wow the panelists if it’s refined well enough.

There are six designers left on “Project Runway,” and they seem evenly matched — five out of the six have won design challenges, and four of them are tied at two wins apiece. But looking back on the history of the show indicates that the likeliest winners might be Victoria Cocieru and Sergio Guadarrama. Here’s why.
SEESergio Guadarrama’s ‘Project Runway’ Designs, Ranked Worst to Best
First, no designer has won “Project Runway” after being eliminated from the show. And that’s the case for two of the remaining designers. Marquise Foster was eliminated in “Project Runway X Ashley Longshore” and brought back the next week after Dayoung Kim left the competition for health reasons. Then Brittany Allen was eliminated in “Suit Yourself,” but Christian Siriano used his first ever Siriano Save to keep her around. The good news for Allen is that four out of the five designers who...

When Nancy Volpe-Beringer was announced as a contestant for “Project Runway” season 18 at age 64, she made history as the show’s oldest designer ever. I honestly wasn’t sure how far she’d make it in the competition, since the winners skew young and fashion is all about what’s modern and now. But she has made it to the top seven, though I don’t think she’s quite gotten the credit she deserves from the judges or her fellow designers. Click above to see how we rank all of her looks so far from worst to best.

After nine challenges, Volpe-Beringer is one of just two designers remaining who hasn’t won a challenge yet, along with Delvin McCray. I myself would probably have given her the win for her “Ultimate Upcycle” look with its backwards shirt and denim skirt created by reconstructing clothes from Goodwill,...

It’s been three months, and the end is here! “Project Runway” concluded its 17th season on Thursday night with “The Final Runway.” It was an especially meaningful moment since this season marked the return of the series to Bravo after spending the last 10 years on Lifetime. It was also the first season without original host Heidi Klum and mentor Tim Gunn, who were replaced by Karlie Kloss and Christian Siriano, respectively. So how did the show wrap up? Did the right designer win? Scroll down for our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments as they happen.
Last week the judges sent home Bishme Cromartie, narrowing down the show to the final three: Hester Sunshine, Garo Sparo and Sebastian Grey. I was surprised by the judges’ choice in “One Elle of a Day” given how consistent Cromartie had been all season: only one low score and then one final...

“Project Runway” has been stuck on the Emmy runway for far too long.
It’s been nominated for Best Reality-Competition Program consecutively for the 13 years since it debuted on TV, but it’s been forced to step back year after year for winners in that category with slicker production values and heart-swelling songs (“The Voice” won 4 times), etc. Victories by “The Voice” are particularly noteworthy since they occurred over the past 5 years; the last 3 victories were consecutive.
Now “The Voice” seems unstoppable much like “Amazing Race” once outran all rivals in the old days. Over the past 15 years of this category’s existence, those two programs have hogged the winners’ circle with only one exception: “Top Chef” had the secret recipe for a shockeroo in 2010.
But that means more upsets are possible – so the Emmy hopes of “Project Runway” remain alive. It’s already won two Emmys in other categories in the past.

Anthony Williams won season six of “Project Runway All Stars” on April 5. He had contended on season seven of the main show but only made it to fifth place then. His win got us to wondering whatever happened to the designer who was crowned the winner of that edition of “Project Runway” as well as those who have walked away with the title in the other 15 seasons to date presided over by Emmy winners Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn.
The lucky seventh winner of “Project Runway” was Seth Aaron Henderson, who went on to win again in the third season of “Project Runway All Stars.” Two other winners of the original show — Dmitry Sholokhov (season 10), and Dom Streater (season 12) — prevailed again in seasons four and five of the “All Star” version.

Anthony Williams is starting to look unstoppable in season six of “Project Runway All Stars.” Based on the combined predictions of the “Runway” fans we poll every week, Williams gets leading odds of 21/20 to win the season. And since consistency is key in this design competition, it gives Williams a crucial leg up that he’s the last contestant remaining who hasn’t received a single low score from the judges.
Going into the most recent episode, “A Kick in the Astro,” Williams hadn’t designed a single look that put him in the judges’ bottom three, and neither had his rivals Joshua McKinley, Fabio Costa or Kimberly Goldson. But that avant garde challenge changed that completely. Goldson was eliminated, while McKinley and Costa joined her among the judges’ least favorite looks. And not only did Williams avoid the judges’ ire, he also got high marks for the challenge. That...

UnREAL‘s all-star season just nailed down another Everlasting alum: Breeda Wool‘s Faith.
The actress will reprise her role in the far-off Season 4, Lifetime confirms to TVLine exclusively.
Longtime fans will remember Faith as the closeted, Christian, lesbian Everlasting contestant who came out during Season 1 of the show-within-a-show. She and her girlfriend, Amy, went on to star in a 10-episode web series released in 2017.

Thursday’s Project Runway reunion offered the perfect opportunity for Claire Buitendorp — she of the tape measure cheating scandal — to admit her wrongdoings and redeem herself in the eyes of her fellow designers. Instead, the disgraced twin decided to pull a Donald Trump.

Friendly warning: This article mentions the winner of Project Runway Season 16. If you haven’t watched the finale yet, turn back now!
Kentaro Kameyama is giving “brother” Brandon Kee a run for his money as the most laid-back contestant of Project Runway‘s 16th season.
Speaking with TVLine just hours after being crowned this season’s winner, the designer said he was fully prepared to not emerge victorious — and he would have been fine with that outcome.

Spoilers Ahead! The winner of Project Runway Season 16 was finally revealed in the finale last night — and it wasn’t who the public expected. While Brandon Kee went into the second part of the finale as favorite, Kentaro Kameyama eventually won. It came after he wowed Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Zac Posen and guest judge Jessica Alba with his final 10-look collections at New York Fashion week. Ayana Ife finished as runner up in second place while Brandon was in third and Margarita Alvarez was in fourth. The general consensus was that Kentaro had shown a high standard all...read more...

Spoilers Ahead! Last night’s Project Runway Season 16 finale took pretty much everyone by surprise — not least the eventual winner, Kentaro Kameyama. Kentaro went into the finale as a real outsider with Brandon Kee way ahead in the odds after a season which saw him go from strength to strength. But when it came down to the final collections at New York Fashion Week there were only two in it at the end — Kentaro and Ayana Ife, the show’s first modest fashion designer. Kentaro eventually walked away with the crown, but took his win in humble fashion. He...read more...

The time has come, Project Runway fans. Every challenge, every sacrifice, every impromptu funeral for a dead cat found on the street has led to this, the Season 16 finale.
With the sting of Kenya’s elimination still thick in the air, the remaining four designers — Ayana, Brandon, Kentaro and Margarita — presented their final collections at New York Fashion Week. Last week’s episode gave us the gist of the designers’ collections (I haven’t stopped thinking about Brandon’s damn flamingo print all week), but the finale allowed us to see them in action. And they looked damn good.
