Welcome to this National Wrestling Alliance 70th Anniversary review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a major main event to cover, along with the return of the Nwa National Heavyweight Title. Let’s get right into the action of the original and most prestigious wrestling league in history, the National Wrestling Alliance.
Sam Shaw beat Colt Cabana, Sammy Guevara and Scorpio Sky – Nwa National Championship Tournament Semi-Final Four-Way Elimination Match My Take: 3 out of 5
I’m surprised that Shaw won, but he has gotten a lot better over the years, so at least he can make some-thing of this chance at a success. Cabana would have been the best choice in terms of star power, but since Shaw is the least known of the four, it could be argued that he is now on equal footing with the other three, more established athletes. The match...

Match #1: New Era Hart Foundation defeated The Stud Stable – Hurricane 6-Man Tag The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
Teddy Hart issued an open challenge to any three grapplers in Mlw who wanted to face the New Era Hart Foundation. Col. Robert Parker was quick to respond, bringing his tag team of the Dirty Blondes and his One Man Demolition Machine Parrow the opportunity. With all six men allowed to be in the ring at once, it was a wild one at times. Hart, Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Brian Pillman Jr. were able to single out Parrow early in the match. While he held his own, delivering a massive chokeslam to Pillman at one point,...

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get right to the action.
Match #1: New Era Hart Foundation defeated Rich Swann/Ach The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
Teddy Hart and Davey Boy Smith Jr. are looking to make waves in Mlw as the New Era Hart Foundation, along with their young friend Brian Pillman Jr. Smith and Hart made waves in Mlw’s tag team division Friday night, scoring a victory over Rich Swann and Ach. Swann and Ach will be challenging the Lucha Bros. for the World Tag Team Championship next week. But one has to wonder where the Hart Foundation stands in the pecking order after their convincing – if not controversial – victory over Swann and Ach.
The Hart Foundation was in control of the contest early. But Ach was able to lock in a sharpshooter on Teddy Hart.
