Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is one of the most-played open-world western RPGs ever released. This title is only topped by the likes of The Witcher 3 and Baldur’s Gate 3, yet the charm of this title stays intact. It cannot be stressed enough how wide a shadow this game must cast on its Mmorpg cousin, Elder Scrolls Online.
Elder Scrolls Online was launched back in 2014 to a mixed reception from both gamers as well as critics. But most of them were still playing games like Skyrim and World of Warcraft back then; hence, it made sense for them to compare it to those games. Developers knew this would happen; hence, they had already taken measures to combat this issue.

Merely three weeks after the console launch of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, Creative Director Paul Sage has quit the project, Zenimax Online Studios confirmed via a recent forum post.
It’s understood that Sage has left in order to join Battleborn developer Gearbox Software, and it’s no coincidence that the company just so happen to be hiring for Borderlands 3. For Teso, though, the future is in very safe hands according to Zenimax, who rubbished any reports that Sage had left on bad terms with an official statement.
“We can confirm that Paul left Zos after the launch of Esotu on console. He, along with rest of the team, are very happy with how the game is doing and we wish him the best in his future endeavours.
“Esotu continues to be in great hands with Gamer Director, Matt Firor and new Creative Director, Rich Lambert, overseeing development.
